I think MSE could be a good choice, as it is in the Office CD.

VbsEdit has the "run" button which misses in koan's VbsEditor. And it is portable. And has
both the object browser and the intellisense. Very good.
VbsEditor is free and portable. If I remember well, it does not have the object browser
(but you can use TLViewer) and the tips on the syntax appear only after the keyword and
are not re-prompted after typing every parameter.

Most of the others ars only advanced notepads
I cannot afford to buy PrimalScript for one or two scripts I write for fun.

I used MSE (mse7 in earlier versions of MS Office), shipped with Office (I have 2000 sbe).
It has object browser and intelli sense like vb (it is the same environment).
Now I use VbsEdit33 and I find it very good and complete.

I love http://www.vbsedit.com, even went so far as to buy the full copy. It's got code completion, object browser, debugging, script samples etc.

I am looking for an IDE for vbscript that I can debug, stop, run
line-by-line etc.  Someone recommended Notepad++, but it appears to be
only an editor.
Free or at cost, all suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!
Mike

Personally, I've found PrimalScript to be head and shoulders above the rest.
